Mr. Porter has over 20 years of leadership experience, having proudly served for 10 years in the United States Army as a Platoon Sergeant until he was honorably discharged in 1998. In the years to follow, Mr. Porter worked for Dell Computer Corporation, where he provided technical support to the top tier of Fortune 500 clients. He was also the Senior Systems Administrator and Information Technology Manager at the Hearst Corporation San Antonio Express-News, where he drove innovation that grew the company to become the third largest daily newspaper in the State of Texas. Mr. Porter served on the Goodwill Advisory Council Board, is currently a Board Member and the Technology Committee Chair for the World Affairs Council of San Antonio, and is a contributing member of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials - Legislative Advisory Council.
After earning his Master of Business Administration at the University of the Incarnate Word, Mr. Porter began teaching Management Information Systems as an Assistant Professor. Here, he identified a mobile technology void that could be filled by his knowledge of social media and cutting-edge application development processes. Shortly thereafter he founded Appddiction Studio, LLC, a firm that provides comprehensive web-based technology and mobile application development solutions for a wide variety of businesses and organizations seeking to maximize their productivity through mobility. Most recently, Mr. Porter received the 2020 U.S. Small Business Person of the Year award for his innovative and progressive leadership and IT expertise in providing program/project management, strategic planning, budgeting, and client support, personnel development, team building, negotiations, and process improvement services.
Mr. Porter is a Scaled Program Consultant Trainer (SPCT) Candidate, performing in roles to include Scaled Program Consultant (SPC), Enterprise Coach/Trainer, Certified Professional Coach, Release Train Engineer (RTE), and Certified Scrum Master. He holds several Agile certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc., Scrum Alliance, IC Agile, Disciplined Agile, and other certifying bodies, which allows him to teach and certify at multiple Agile and Scrum levels.
Mr. Ortega is an experienced Senior Software Engineer leading full-stack software development teams. He holds several SAFe, Checkmarx, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) certifications, and he is also a Certified International Configuration Manager (CICM) and Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM).
Ms. Gaston has over 10 years of experience coordinating and performing daily operations, to include contract management for Federal, commercial, and private sector contracts. She serves as a single point of contact for our contracts, ensuring successful performance through strategic execution and management activities. She also provides human resources, onboarding, credentialing, and training support.
